Yes…. I will truly forgive those who have wronged me or deliberately set out to hurt me so I can be free (Col 3:13)

Ask the Heavenly Father a word of wisdom on this one to come up with a prayer to assist with this. “Letters to my Sister” devotional by Ebony King speaks of this Love Your Enemies

Yes…I will look in the mirror each morning and say at least 3 positive things about myself and my future. (Proverbs ‪18:21)

The Word reminds us we shall have what we decree or speak.

“You’ve Been Approved, (insert your name)”
“We Are Pleased To Inform You, (insert your name)”
“You Owe Us Nothing, (insert your name)”
“These Keys Belong to You, (insert your name)”

“It’s (insert your name) WINNING SEASON!”
“Everything and Everyone ATTACHED to (insert your name) Wins”
“You shall have what you say (insert your name)”
“You are TOTALLY HEALED (insert your name)”
I’m claiming it! I receive these words of affirmation in Jesus’ Name. Speak it into existence and trust that God is able.

Yes….I will be responsible for my finances so that God can trust me with more (Luke ‪16:10)

Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that you will forgive me of my sins. I believe that you gave your only begotten Son – Jesus Christ – to die for my sins. Today, I accept Jesus Christ into my life. God, I earnestly bow down to you and acknowledge you as my Lord and Savior. I thank you for blessing me with the ability to use my talents and gifts to make a legal, ethical living. God, I thank you for providing the resources that I currently have, including my employment. I know that I must be a great steward of my talents and gifts as well as my income. Father, like so many people, I have struggled with living below my means. There’s so much temptation to impress others with materialistic things. While I know that there’s nothing wrong with owning nice things, I pray that you will bless me to prioritize my needs from my wants. Father, please convict my heart and allow me to practice self-control so that I do not feel tempted to impress others, as I know that my validation can only come from you. God, I know that there’s nothing in this world that can take the place of your inner happiness and joy.

Father, I no longer want to participate in the cycle of living paycheck-to-paycheck.  Please reveal what I need to do to get my finances in order. Reveal your financial plan to me and my family so that we can prove ourselves as great stewards, according to Proverbs 10:4. God, please expose any “financial mismanagement and/or poverty mindsets” that I or my family have knowingly or unknowingly entertained. If there are any habits that need to be broken, reveal them today. Deliver me and my family from supporting habits that would cause us to live above our means, in Jesus Christ’s name.

“Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth.” – Proverbs 10:4

God, I know that I have been more of a consumer than a saver, with regards to my finances. I ask that you guide me toward invaluable resources, including books and money management groups that will support my saving/budgeting efforts. Lord, please remove anything or anyone from my life that would hinder my goals to save for my future as well as my family’s future, in Jesus Christ’s name. I ask that you will grant me and my family discernment so that we uncover opportunities to save more every day.

Father, I know the plans that you have are to prosper me. I also know that you will not give me more resources than I can handle. I thank you for seeing my life beyond a myopic lens, for you know exactly when and how to bless me with the proper resources. God, I pray that you will convict my heart as well as the hearts of my family members to seek financial counseling if that is needed. Bless us to receive assistance to improve our credit ratings, develop emergency funds, and secure the proper retirement portfolios, among other goals. Father, I pray that you will allow us to not be ashamed to ask for help, as we know that you desire for your children to be great stewards of our finances.

“The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none.” – Deuteronomy 28:12

Father, bless me to seek your will in everything that I do. God, please convict my heart to read your Word every day, for I know that you also provide invaluable financial advice for breaking the cycle of living above my means and living paycheck-to-paycheck. Your Word also offers sage advice about budgeting and saving. Lord, I want to be liberated from debt and I know that it will take a paradigm-shift, self-discipline, and patience. I am ready to be a great steward of my finances. I rebuke the enemy’s tactics to keep me in financial bondage, in Jesus Christ’s name. God, I pray that you will break every “financial curse” assigned to my life or my loved ones. May your grace and mercy be upon me as I take practical steps to become a better steward of my finances, in Jesus Christ’s name. Amen.

  • Set an allotted time to attend events and give to people. Are we asking God if a person is our assignment?
  • Set a schedule of how much time you can spend with people/events. If you receive several invitations make sure you are asking God which ones are divine appointments/connections. Allow Him to guide your steps regarding the decision.  Sometimes we invite ourselves into rooms that we are not authorized by God to be in.
